Orange Hair and a Painted Smile
This vintage decorative clown doll combines a glossy ceramic head with vivid orange synthetic hair and a green gingham costume. Dating approximately to the late twentieth century, possibly the 1980s–1990s, it measures around 33 cm high.
The white face carries a broad orange smile surround, a dark open-mouth detail, and a rounded green nose. Black brows and lashes frame the dark eyes. Blue-and-yellow eye makeup adds further colour above them.
Small outlined accents decorate the cheeks. The painted expression is cheerful and theatrical, without establishing a particular stage character. Neither a named maker nor a specific production country has been identified.
Green Gingham and Polka Dots
A white shirt patterned with small green dots forms the upper costume. Its generously cut sleeves gather at the cuffs, giving the figure a rounded silhouette. Dark braces run over the shoulders and cross at the back.
White buttons secure the braces at the front waistband. Their textured finish resembles leather, but the material has not been confirmed. The contrast between dark straps and pale shirt keeps the costume details clearly defined.

A layered white lace ruffle surrounds the neck. Gold-coloured decorative threads catch the light between its scalloped edges. The delicate collar contrasts with the bold painted face and tousled hair.
