1951 German Catholic Missal

Patterned endpapers add a quieter decorative detail inside the binding. A handwritten inscription appears near the lower corner of an endpaper. This personal addition forms part of the book’s surviving history.
The 980 thin pages fit within a volume measuring approximately 16 × 11 × 3 cm. Their fine texture allows a substantial amount of printed material within modest dimensions. Close side views show the page block and the curved leaves beside the spine.
Condition
Good vintage condition overall, with visible rubbing and wear to the leather at the spine, edges and corners. The endpapers have a handwritten inscription and age-related marks. Several page corners show creasing, while the page edges display discolouration and scattered marks.
The printed text remains clear and readable. The book is complete, with 980 pages. The photographs show the binding, selected interior openings, endpapers and page edges in detail.
